Inspection 

¨   ID number present

¨   Alignment of body – twisting, buckling

¨   Wear, corrosion and cracks on body and cams

¨   Nuts, bolts, spring and rivets

¨   Opening, closing and locking mechanisms operating correctly

¨   Perform function check 

Maintenance 

¨   Clan prior to inspection

¨   Lubricate after inspection

¨   Store hung up in dry environment

 Marking

Fall arresters may be lightly engraved, location of marking will vary according to type (Contact Bill Beynon 07970 683776 for advice).
